Weight Loss Hacks From A Bikini Model

We all can lose sight of what we want sometimes, particularly when it comes to weight loss.

Whether we set them weekly, monthly or each new year, we all want to tick them off our list. Sometimes though, especially when it comes to weight loss, we lose sight of what we want.

Why? Well, usually because it all gets too hard and we re-prioritise our lives as we go along, and those goals fly down the list.

We’re basically already in Summer here in Australia now, and it is the perfect time to re-evaluate what you set out to do and be ready to smash these last few months of the year.

Diet is one of the hardest things to stay on top of, and I am here to share a few things you can do to make those diet choices that much easier to make.

Sounds drastic, but it isn’t. Cut the chips, and replace with popcorn — but not the buttery kind. Salted and lightly dusted with flavour is all you need.

Popcorn doesn’t have to be boring and plain, that‘s not what we’re going for here. No-one wants to substitute their chips for something bland.

If you like sweet, use a natural sweetener powder and toss the popcorn in it.

Like spicy? Cinnamon is amazing on popcorn, and even chilli — have you tried that? Adding chilli powder to plain popcorn transforms the experience!

The possibilities are endless, and not a crispy chip in sight. Forgo the extra fat that a chip will add to your diet, and sub in popcorn.

Same experience, less calories. Easy choice to implement when you want to get back on track.

You heard me, the fruit yoghurt isn’t helping you!

Take a look at the sugar content on the packaging… are you surprised? That’s the hidden nasty in pretty much all flavoured yoghurt.

You’ll find yourself over consuming on sugar, without realising. But you do not need to miss out on the flavour. There is a beautiful thing called natural sweetener.

Stevia is my favourite and something you can add to any plain yoghurt to make it taste sweeter. Like spicy? Add mixed spice to your bowl.

It’s much better to start with plain yoghurt and add your flavourings (like fresh fruit!) so you can have more control over your calories. Trust me on this — small things count!

It takes 21 days to create a habit, and these little changes to make your diet that little bit easier will propel you forward.

Once you get that momentum going, there will be no stopping you!
