I was fired on the first day of Job

It was the first day of work after one month training as a Voice Agent. I walked into the floor feeling confident and focused.

I went into my cabin and sat down to start the day. But before I could even log into my PC; my supervisor told me I was wanted in the Manager’s office.

I walked in casually into the manager’s office unaware of what was going to happen.

“Sit, Robin.” He said.

I settled into the chair opposite to him.

“We have gone through your performance during the training period and I’m afraid you do not qualify our company requirements. You can be a lot better Robin; I’m sorry. However, if there’s any opportunity in the future. We’ll inform you so you can come and try out again. This is nothing personal. Do you have any questions?”

“No.” I said and walked out feeling numb, defeated and stupid.
