Where are you on Cyber Monday?

Meditating hopefully…

Meditation is not religious. Though many practice spiritual meditation there is also mindfulness meditation, focused meditation, movement meditation and progressive relaxation meditation.

So, which is right for you?

Do you need to sharpen focus, connect body to breathing, deal with emotions, alter your here-ness, reduce holiday stress (we are all getting it onboard along with post c-o-v-i-d consciousness) or just get better sleep?

Meditation may offer the solution to your Cyber Monday because if i had a $1 for every time I was asked if I was shopping every Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I’d be a rich woman. I wonder how much of these things all of these people actually need. Likely, none of it but it’s on sale. It is just not the mood gaze I have ever bought into. You don’t have to do yoga to meditate. It has to be something that escapes you or allows you to escape this. Whether its walking, gardening, sitting in the dark holding a pose or performing a slow tightening and relaxing of one muscle group at a time throughout the body it is the zen away from the rat race so you can perform in your rat race with better efficiency than to just paddle along without any meditation.

The power of the mind can heal. The world of botanicals offers the “King of Medicine” in Ayurveda which is Myrobalan AKA: Haritaki. It has extraordinary healing properties hence its first position on the Ayurveda list. There are many variations of the botanical with varying healing uses so refer to a Traditional Medicine Practitioner or a Functional Medicine Practitioner. So wherever you are on Cyber Monday, be sure to catch your meditation breather. Cheers to your holidays and end of year celebrations.
