Day 1

Yesterday was my birthday, so it seems like as good a day as any to begin.

I find myself once again at the beginning of a new venture. The circumstances may be a bit different (they are each time), but there are familiar feelings. These are feelings of uncertainty, of not knowing where I’m headed, not knowing if it will work out (not even knowing what “worked out” would look like), not knowing what I need to do next.

Does that sound scary? It can be sometimes, but over the years I’ve learned to see it differently. It’s a place full of possibility, of creativity, of adventure, of life! There is always a next thing to do and it suggests itself to me moment by moment. It only becomes a right or wrong thing to do if I choose to see it that way.

I thought I’d keep a record of this particular adventure into the unknown and share it. I’m keeping it vague and anonymous on purpose. Who knows if anyone will even ever read it. That’s part of the journey. So if you happen across this somehow, then I hope me sharing my journey helps you somehow.
