Goodbye and Good Riddance

I reached out to you,
But you threw it away.
I thought we were friends,
But now I see you’re just a stray.

I was always nice to you,
But you never appreciated it.
You took advantage of my kindness,
And now you’re gone without a bit of guilt.

I’m not sure what I did to deserve this,
But I’m not going to let it get to me.
I’m better off without you,
And I’ll find someone who actually cares.

So goodbye, and good riddance.
I hope you find what you’re looking for,
Because it’s not me.
